Hello, folks. I own Toshiba Satellite Pro M30 and recently I noticed that the bottom left part of my lcd is somewhat darker than the other parts of the screen. It's not very noticeable, but it irritates me. I've read that the cause could be the inverter, but is it possible that the inverter to have only a specific problematic area or if it damages, the whole screen becomes dimmed? Can anybody give some advice what to do![]()

I've seen heat cause dark spots, if that's the case, then the laptop needs to be serviced.
BTW - repped for using the word "homogeneous" correctly, while most new forum members rarly no how 2 spel. -
It's not actually a spot. It's an area of the screen. This area is like you've set the brightness minus 1 level.

Comon, mods. Did you change the title to spite me? Might as well get rid of the negative and use "heterogeneous" instead.

I've not changed anything...

I am sending it back to samsung to be checked out.
