    My new monitor keeps resetting! need help pls

    i got a toshiba a 200 laptop with ati HD 2600 vga. I got my self an acer monitor 20 inch. And now after i connect my monitor to the laptop and start playing cod 4 (1280 x 800) monitor keeps resetting. it goes off for a sec and come back. This happens when im on desktop watching movies too... but rarely. im not running on dual monitors either.

    are you using the same vga cable to connect both the desktop and the laptop? Have you tried a different input (DVI) on the monitor using your desktop?

    i dont have a dekstop i only have a laptop. No i havent tried with dvi cable
