I don't get what's going on, this just happened randomly right this second. My touchpad doesn't accurately do what my finger tells it to do!
I wonder if this is something to do with a hot laptop? Can a hot laptop burn out a touchpad?
It's starting to work better now.

Always turn off and restart when funny things happen if it works great if not look further. Also make sure clean. Always double check the control panel mouse settings to make sure they are correct. And yea an overheated notebook could explain almost anything.

Well, all seems okay right now. But I was getting freaked out. All my settings were correct, and a rebooted. The pointer was skipping around!
Anywho. I think I better make sure I spend $150 to extend my warranty to 3 years. I have 20 days left on my original 1 year warranty! -
It needs to clean it up specially the edges of the touchpad.

I actually found a hair encrusted into the bottom edge of the touchpad. I removed it and now things are find. I wonder if that was the problem...

yup! for better result fold a piece of bond paper and clean it up with pointed edges to the touchpad and apply a bet of alcohol but very careful it may damaged its surface.

My Mouse button on my touch pad is is not working correctly. The left button is not connecting like it should, i have to push down really hard to make it connect?
any fixes? -
I don't know could be much but because you say when you push down hard it works, I suspect something is not "seating" properly. When I push my button I hear a physical "click" do you hear that? if not then the "seating" problem likely with the piece of plastic "button" itself. If so can you gently push it from unusual angles and see if it "seats" itself? If it clicks then the "seating" problem likely where button makes contact with board. Dirt and grime could be responsible maybe try compressed air from a can, it might knock something loose. Don't be afraid to put the "straw" from the can close so the air moves under button. If this does not work I would carefully take apart and get physical access to area, I know not the easiest but if you are careful can be done. I want to point out if this is an alignment (seating) problem continuing to use force will slowly cause permanent damage. Also if the notebook is more than 4 years old could just be worn out in which case disregard most of what I have said.

The Click is there, so I know the button is fine, I believe it has to do with the connection on the board.
I just took apart all the screws that I could find and could only get it to pry loose, no come all the way apart.
I sprayed the air in there between the button and board and it did not do much to help...
If I could get it all the way apart I could fix it myself but I don't know how to take this thing apart...
