I came from an Intel 120 160gb SSD, and noticed significant stuttering in the OS, so I decided to optimize it according to The SSD Optimization Guide Redesigned - The SSD Review

The following benchmark speaks for itself...

I'm running an X220 with the latest RST and chipset drivers

We have been running one on an X220 (daily driver) for about 4 weeks now with absolutely no issues and it is 80% full. I PMed you with an email address so we can look into it further.

Well I have some very good news. We just got the new FW and it makes a huge difference in random speeds. We are working to get a full tutorial and the FW up by the end of the day. It will be located and the MyDigitalDiscount blog post for Phison FW. We are getting 25MB/sec random 4K write with a drive that is over 90% full. This FW will make our BP3 one of the highest performing SSD's on the market. We are so excited.

    More info to come.

Zerius, let us all know how it goes. We are seeing scores that I never thought possible from a Phison controller over here. Absolutely destroying most of the competition. Hope you have the same results as us.

I get this error. I've tried to run it in safe mode as well. (run-as: admin)

zerius, please make sure their are no other applications running when you do this FW upgrade. According to Phison this is more than likely your issue.
