There is an access panel on the underside of my Acer 9410-4317 that has an empty, unidentifiable connector. Hoping its for a video card. Can't tell. Anyone know where I can look up a photo of what a notebook pci-e video slot might look like?

You cannot upgrade a GPU, so it is not that.

Generally speaking, if a notebook does not come with a video card (and is not a barebones system) it will not be able to have a video card installed.

Most video cards on notebooks are soldered to the motherboard; there is, however, an MXM system that allows video cards that are the correct MXM class to be swapped out with one another; however, MXM is implemented as an upgrade system, not a system to add components.

If I'm wrong, someone correct me please :)
