Hi, I have a problem with my temporary set up for films/vids
It's a NC10 with VGA output and the TV is a Bush 26" LCD with VGA input.

It works fine but it intermittently flicks off for, oh about a second or so then comes back on.
When it goes off the monitor reads PC like you have just selected the source.

Doesn't say out of range or sync etc.

I bought a (very cheap £4.19) 5 meter VGA lead today and am wondering if that may be the cause of the problem?
I have also tried updating the graphics driver to no avail.

let me get this... u have a NC10 netbook connected to LCD TV by VGA.... looks like driver or cable problem... can u download CPU-Z latest version and give me ur CPU and GPU info in screenshots? .. i doubt its a cable problem... i had a cheap HDMI cable and it worked for 6 months+ with no problems...

Have you updated your BIOS and your virus scanner?

Have you tried another display with a VGA port? It maybe a problem specific to the TV you're using now.

    Fixed it!
It must of either been the cable or cable length as I replaced it with a 2m one and everything is OK now.

Thank you for everyone's help :)
