This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     NP8150 with 30" HP ZR30w won't display full resolution.

    Waiting on my new desktop to get here in the mail, so I figured I would set my 30" HP ZR30w up to my Sager NP8150.

    I have a dual-link DVI cable hooked up to the port on the back of the laptop and it with the current monitor and Radeon HD6990 drivers, shows 1280x800 as the maximum resolution.

    I have made sure that the port on the back of the laptop is Dual-Link and it is set up correctly.

    Has anybody else had or heard of this being an issue?
