Alright so after a lot of researching I've come across the Sager NP9773-S and I keep seeing things and posts about how it can have 2 980Ms. My question is, is this true? I can't seem to find anything backing up that it has an extra gpu slot.

edit: rip thread title... Didn't add the word Sager

You mixed it up with the NP9377 and not the NP9773

Clevo model no., always remember the Clevo no. They're not super similar and confusing like Sager or have weird names like everyone else.

Well, it seems the old models are being phased out waiting for new models. If you're lucky, a SLI, desktop-CPU-using model will come out, probably using Skylake. But if you find the need to purchase a laptop before then and want SLI, then Eurocom still sells the P37xSM-A models (with 120Hz screens too) as the Scorpius 3 and the X8. But you wanted CPU power the most, so the P770ZM-G is the machine I still recommend, as getting impeccable CPU power out of a P37xSM-A model would require some elbow grease (liquid metal paste for the CPU, and/or an older model's heatsinks which sacrifice slave GPU cooling (the slave GPU will still be cool enough if it's a 980M) for CPU cooling) which is also added cost, and the unlocked CPUs are $1000 as opposed to the $300 4790K from the P770ZM.

Also as Octiceps said, clevo model number is the most important number.
