    NVIDIA 8400M GS or 8600M GT?

    For general PC usage not involving heavy gaming, will a difference in screen clarity and PC speed be noticed between a NVIDIA 8400M GS and 8600M GT?

    For a general purpose PC you'll probably be fine with integrated graphics, not to mention an 8400M.

    I don't have much to add to comments above, they pretty much cover it. The 8400gs does use less power then a 8600GT so it'll probably give you a little more battery life.
