This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    im on the virge of purchasing a new core duo laptop. it says it has 'napa' technology. is this old type of intel chip? i read somewhere that napa was codeword for yonah before it was released. could someone please tell me if i am buying an out of date cpu before i go and spend a bomb on this thing.
