I recently purchased a LCD HDTV and had hoped to use it as a high-def monitor or TV. Unfortunately, my HP nc8430 doesn't have a dvi-d output, only vga. The hp docking station for my nc8430 comes with a dvi-d out, but costs around $150.

Are there any cheaper docking stations that would be compatible with my nc8430? Does anyone know or have a working used hp basic docking station that they would be willing to sell me?

Is there another way to create a dvi-d output from my laptop cheaply?

I appreciate all the help.
