Im down to two brands, the scorpio blue and the fujitsu drives. I hear constant problem surrounding the blues about click, vibrations, whoosing sounds, etc etc. I was wondering if any has anything to say about the fujitsu.

All I can say is my FUJITSU MHZ2320BH G2's clicking is louder and more distracting than my WD5000BEVT's whooshing (which I can only hear if I put my ear to the drive).

According to Tom's Hardware, the 320GB 720rpm Fujitsu is quite power hungry.

I would prefer the 500GB WD blue, but the Hitachi 5K500.B is even better.

which of them from the three is the quietest?
power hungry doesnt really matter to me. mainly looking for a hard drive that is "silent"

I think the Hitachi is slightly quieter than the WD. I can't comment on the Fujitsu but 7200rpm HDDs tend to be noisier because the higher spin speed.

Yes, Hitachi is quieter than WD for sure. If you don't care about noise the WD 500GB is fine, but I'd go with the 5K500.B
