    As long as it's IDE and 2.5" there's no reason it shouldn't work. You might not be able to recognize like really big drives, but anything in the 10GB range should be fine.

    20GB should be fine. I upgraded my C400/CpT from 4.5 to 20GB without a problem.

    I have a few 20Gb Hitachi 4200rpm notebook drives, I will sell you one for like $10, if you live in the USA. the drive has less than 800 hours on it, and it has a 2mb buffer.

    ktron.... wtf? do u have a ton of random computer parts lying around? u said u have 10 128mb thing of ram in another thread..... do u have any 144 pin pc 100 ram? cause ill buy one of those HDs if it is 2.5" and ata and id take some 144 pin pc 100 ram if u do

    Sorry aan310, my sleepy eyes scrolled right over the 144 pin. I have a ton of desktop memory, but I think I only have a 64mb or a 128mb Pc100 card lying around for laptops. I will check for you.

    In another trhead I mentioned I had 10 1Gb Pc3200 Crucial memory cards I was willing to sell

    I have the harddrives.

    Sorry for the inclarity, I had 4 hours of sleep. Damn architecture projects suck the life out of people.
