Hello Everyone, I am new to this forum and am seeking help. I managed to fry my motherboard on my alienware m3450i. I have tried numerous websites and all have been out of stock, i.e. laptopking, excel, ect. Thanks to the laptop being second hand alienware will not help me either. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? Any help would be deeply appreciated.
    Thanks!

replacement MB is usually not cost effective as they're several hundreds of dollars.

    time for a new computer.

If you cant find the motherboard, just part out your system, sell the individual components which work, and get a new system.

That definitely sucks, that is why you should buy it direct from the manufacturer, then again Alienware has horrible tech support. My friend has an alienware, and his gpu burned out. Alienware, said that the gpu was not covered, and he had to pay $450 for a new 7900GTX. My Quadro in my Voodoo burned out mainly becuase it was defective. I overclocked, underclocked my Quadro, and Voodoo just gave me a new one, no questions asked.

Tech support is definitely one thing you should check when you buy a laptop, that is why I strayed away from alienware.
