What do you guys think would be better for good gaming?
-Intel® Core 2 Duo Mobile T7700 Dual-Core Processor @ 2.40GHz 800FSB 4MB L2 Cache 64-bit
-4GB (2x2GB) PC5300 DDR2-667 SODIMM Memory
-Built-in NVIDIA GeForce Go 8600M GT 512MB with Turbo Cache Technology Video
or
-(Sckt775)Intel® Core 2 Duo E6700 CPU @ 2.66GHz 1066FSB 2x2MB L2 Cache EM64T
-2GB (2x1GB) PC5300 DDR2-667 SODIMM Memory
-Built-in NVIDIA GeForce Go 8600M GT 512MB Supports up to 1GB Turbo Cache Technology Video
These are both notebooks from Cyberpowerpc and im not sure which one would be faster....note the bottom notebook only supports up to a max of 2gb of ram

Either one would be great for gaming, they are both smoking setups. Beware of cyberpower though, they have a pretty poor reseller rating.

For a notebook I'd probably go with option 1 so you can at least take it with you and have more than 5 minutes of battery if you so choose.
If you're going to do option 2, you may as well build a desktop. -
Find out if the turbocache 8600 on them has dedicated ram or is mostly just turbocache (which sucks).

Im not sure heres the link if you can help me?

It's also got to suck some major battery.
I vote for the top one, as well. -
I like #1, I am just not into desktop CPU's in notebooks. Also if you want 4GB RAM try and buy with 1GB and upgrade to 4GB on your own I think you can do it for $200.
-
I think they are both 512mb versions (512mb dedicated ram, 512mb allocated from system memory to extend texture storage).
Google the systems and see what other users are saying. -
I would go for option #1 with 2gb of ram, I was going to go with 4gb as well but a member on this forumn hinted I might have issues. So I did some searching. From what I found out, 2 gb is the sweet spot for running Vista. 4 gb may actually slow the system down as the computer now has a larger area to look for information on. Definitely the first, but as noted I would not trust CyberPower PC because they have poor customer service according to the testimonials on www.resellerratings.com.

Thanks for all the info guys...I appreciate it

4GB Ram...how should I put it...You'll need a 64-bit system to utilize and see those 4GB, if you are using 32-bit vista/XP it will only you 3-3.5GB RAM which is still good I think if you don't want to bother with 64bit.
Also keep in mind TurboCache will use your RAM's memory, so 4GB is a perfect choice. -
Agreed, #1 with 2 GB RAM. The power consumption of the E6700 is more than three times that of the T7700.
