I knock my laptop off the table and screw up the lcd screen , so I need to buy a new lcd panal for my dv2845se laptop. Called up HP and they wanted $470.00 for a new one. I only pay $800.00 for the laptop! Anyone know of any good and trustworthy online store were I can buy a new screen? Thanks in advance for your help.

For $470 what are they selling you? What did you break? Can you just buy those parts? And of course E-Bay.

i would use that notebook as a desktop from that moment ;) And just connect it to an external screen! Think it'll be too expensive to change that

I don’t know about trustworthiness, but you can find a replacement LCD from e-bay from $100 upwards.

Already have two desktops, so I would like to get the laptop back up and running again. I googled replacement lcd and came up with a couple of online stores and e-bay. I have never dealt with them and do not want to get screwed. Most of them are selling the screen for $120.00 to $170.00. Guess I will have to take a chance and hope for the best. Thank again for your help.
