Hi, I was thinking about getting a sager 5790 barebone, and adding mostly everything else myself. But I have a question about the processor, will I be able to put an AMD on it instead of an Intel?

I don't believe so, because traditionally AMD and Intel's mobile chips have different sockets, the current C2D uses Socket P, the current X2 uses Socket S1.
