    In the thread in the link below the user "unknown555525" says that S-Video will only run video at 30fps max on a TV, so would hooking my my laptop via S-video to watch a DVD on my TV be laggy and of a rubbish quality?

    Most video is either 24 or 29fps, unless i'm mistaken.

    Well ill be watching dvd ripped videos so will an S-video cable be ok for this?

    The resolution might change, i think s-video only supports 1024 X 768, but the quality will be good enough especially if its downloaded.
