My laptop is a toshiba satellite A300-22W model, I have it for a little over 5 years and it's still going strong. However in the last year or so the battery lasts 15-20 minutes only, and I want to order online (retail stores will rip me off, the don't have them in stock and order them charging me more money) a new battery.
Problem is, searching sites like amazon and ebay, I've only found 6cell batteries for my model... Now that's what my old battery was, but I'm looking for 9 or 12 cell battery (depending on prices and if they are being sold of course), that's shipped to Greece. I've found some but they are sold by american stores and wont ship it here. I'll be grateful if somebody could help me find one!
Thanks in advance and happy holidays!

I doubt that you will find a decent stock for your laptop battery being of that vintage. Battery degrades in storage whether being used or not. The best best is to go the recell route where there is better chance for you to get fresh cells. Depending on where you are I suppose there is someone who offer the service. Opt for them panasonics cells to get better capacity and longevity.

And remember, Toshibas are notorious for lower battery life. Many do well to get 2 hours.
Need help buying a battery...
