Hi, I am searching for the instruction that show how to replace the harddisk for Sony Vaio VGN-S460.
I was used to Toshiba that was only to remove an only screw and to change the harddisk. Now with that Sony I don't make the low it idealizes of how to do.
Do I have to loosen all the screws that are in the part of bass of the notebook? I would like detailed instructions.
    Anybody can help?
I await and thank you very much.
    Alexandre

I am not familliar with the model, but I've seen quite a few sony models with their HDD access thru the keyboard. Try to remove the panel above the keyboard, it should reveal the screws holding the keyboard remove those, remove the keyboard. then you should be able to see all the internals and access the HDD

This may sound dumb, but did you try the manual that came with your notebook?

Already yes. Besides I talked for chat with the unhappy of the support and he recommended to leave even only to a technical attendance of them to change the hard disk.
