    Hello,

My laptop battery is totally dead and I dont really know where or what kind to buy.
The laptop is a Compaq Presario C700.
The battery I have now is pretty fat, I mean it sticks out of the back of the laptop (I believe u call it a 12-cell?). I want the new one to be flat.
I have no clue on prices but I dont need anything fancy. Just from a reliable company and have a decent-average time usage.

    Thanks in advance !

This is one of the greatest areas that people neglect in mobile electronics. I never buy any mobile device without including the cost of at least one additional battery.

In the case of a laptop, one should be sufficient. In my opinion, this should be the norm.

Check your actual model number elsewhere on the laptop. C700 should be the series but its more likley to have a model of C751US. The F730 had F700 written on the lid.

You can actually buy parts from the HP website though usually the more expensive of options once you have an actual model number you can lookup all the parts, prices and avaliability.
