    Hi, need advice.

I saw 1 laptop having this processor.
    AMD Turion X2 RM-74 Dual-Core Mobile Processor (2.2 GHz)

Never try AMD before, how does this compare to Intel's?
Is this same as Intel's Core 2 duo or core 2 duo extreme?

Anyone who bought AMD and regretted?

An intel dual core/c2d at like 1.6Ghz would be on par with that one, but the intel would stay cooler, therefor be more quiet (less fan-noise).
