After nights of research, testing and dremeling i finally managed to get the msi gt680 heatsink plate attached to the mxm.

before going to sleep i tested it with just the power adapter and the whole thing was bootable up to the bios and thx to optimus I didn't need to flash the 1070 to use the internal display but while putting the laptop battery in I guess I accidentally turned on the laptop while the ac adapter wasn't plugged in as result the power led came on and stayed on but I had no video so I turned it off but now it won't come back on regardless of ac adapter or battery.

I decided to bring it with me to work and I will attempt removing the video card. Does anyone have any other ideas?
