    Need new battery for my Thinkpad T42p

    My trusty old T42P needs a new battery and I am hoping someone can provide me with some idea of what I should get and where I should get it.

    The model/part numbers on the current battery are:

    FRU 08K8198 and ASM 92P1065

    I am down to about 30 minutes run time.

    I am not sure I ever got more than 2.5 hours with this battery even when the TP was new. In any case, it would be great to find a battery that gave me as much run time as possible. Perhaps battery technology has evolved since I bought the unit in 2005!

    ebay.. look there... stay away from the chinese ones... also try lenovo store... on the lenovo website...
