Hi all ~ My Epson CX 4800 self-destructed recently ~ so I need to get a new "all in one" printer. I am also "in process" of ordering a notebook...(well, this is taking a bit due to some procrastination on my part)!

My question is - since I need the printer for usage before I get my new notebook - for which I will be "completely wireless in the house" when I have it. Is it necessary for me to purchase a "Wireless All-in One Printer" or will a regular "all-one one" printer be fine - as long as I am going with a Wireless router?

Is there any advantage w/going with a wireless printer? Thanks!

Where is your wireless router located? Like you laptop, the wireless "all in one" printer is able to be located anywhere it can get a signal from the router. So if your router and printer need to be in two different locations, go with a wireless printer. If there are in the same room, then no need for the wireless printer.

It just depends on where you plan to place the printer. I have a HP Photosmart C6100, it has wireless g, but the router is two feet away. No need for the wifi, but I may use it someday.
