I been happy with my current setup, with twin 128gb ssds on raid 0, but im starting to reach the point where i need more than 256gb for my OS/Programs/Games, so im thinking on upgrading toward 500gb or around there (so twin 250gb would do the trick). This are the two that im consider, although im open for others in case you think there are better,

Crucial M500 240GB mSATA Internal Solid State Drive CT240M500SSD3
Crucial M550 256GB mSATA Internal Solid State Drive CT256M550SSD3
SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-MTE250BW 250GB mSATA III TLC Internal Solid State Drive

I would prefer the EVO or M550 since its newer and faster, although with TLC, but i don't write that much, so i think would be fine, the problem is the difference in price, $120 vs $170, and in raid 0 im not sure that the Magician software will work, so idk if it worth the price difference, the m500 seems very tempting.

A couple of months ago I compared the M500 mSATA and the EVO mSATA. One key difference which was relevant for my ultrabook usage was the M500's higher idle power consumption. However, I doubt if that is very significant on your hardware platform and the less expensive Crucial products would work fine. I would note, however, that the write speeds that I observed will be reduced in the 250GB size.

You are correct that SSD Magician can only work with one SSD.

Given that SSDs' long term performance benefits from having a substantial proportion of free space you may want to look to the future and see if you can afford a pair of the 480GB M500.

I had bought crucial m500 msata 240GB in February used it for few days. Performance regarding write and read speed was OK. But I returned the drive because my ThinkPad started running really hot.
The drive temperature would average 125 to 130 on ideal. And would shoot up to 160 under moderate load. My ThinkPad is strictly for work so I did not like the heat issue, it would constantly keep the fan running hence consuming battery.
