    Are you sure you have a 12.5mm zHeight HDD in your computer? Usually they are 9.5mm.

    While your link doesn't work, the Seagate 1TB SSHD drive should.

    Depending on the drive cage in the Acer, you may have to make a shim to keep the new drive from moving around.
