Hi, guys!
Now i'm looking for the memory to upgrade existing 1GB in my HP EliteBook 2530p. I wanna buy two 2GB modules. I know that all notebook memory is exactly the same. But maybe you hear about really interesting modules with a little bit more potential?
How about Corsair Gaming Memory? Or G.Skill modules with a heatsink?
Thanks for your answers!

Short answer... dont waste your time.
Just get a good brand with a good warrenty and the capacity you want. THe rest of it is largely useless -
Whoever told you that is wrong. All notebook memory is not exactly the same. Currently, there's three types of notebook memory on the market today: DDR, DDR2, and DDR3. In your case, it appears that your notebook is of the DDR2 variety. As far as all DDR2 memory modules being the same, I disagree, for the reasons given in my response below.
Honestly, when it comes to DDR2 memory, they can be considered, generally speaking, "the same". This might sound contradicting to what I said earlier. However, I want to stress that memory manufacturers are not the same as some offer better customer service, warranties, and general peace of mind than others do.
For example, OCZ, which I rate very highly, has exceptional customer service, strong warranties (lifetime warranty on all memory modules), as well as a very fast, efficient RMA process. RAM heatsinks in notebook memory, I feel, is a gimmick. Unless you're overclocking (which won't happen as you own an OEM) having a heatsink on SO-DIMM modules is pointless. -
They do exist, their called Kingston HyperX. Low latency programmed SPD timings as standard, 4-4-4-12 @ 800mhz or 667mhz

I have the 4GB kit @ 667mhz, to match my cpu fsb. Price wasnt much more than standard stuff. But the 800mhz costs quite a bit. -
I swear by Kingston HyperX. I'm currently running 2x2GB at 667MHz with 4-4-4-12 timings.

That sounds great! Thanks for all your responses, guys.
Need your advise! Laptop memory with max perfomance?
