Another "professional" here. Do I care what he thinks of the G45? Nope...who does he think I actually care?

Ibexpeak is the PCH. The graphics is in the CPU so that doesn't work. The graphics is code-named Ironlake.

Little off topic but the spelling is wrong on the mobile 32nm code-name. It's Arrandale not Arrendale.

And, the G45 is not a graphics card, its a chipset. The G45 chipset uses the X4500HD integrated graphics.

I don't think so, Clarksfield has been called a quad core without the gpu since many months ago. I am so excited to finally be able to buy a notebook next year! Glad to see I have gotten by on single cores (at home at least) for five years! :D

Sorry...its Clarkdale. ? Intel, fire your "naming" department. All of them sound the same.

My bad. I mixed these two up.

Clarkdale is for desktops, so I don't even worry about that. ;)

    Demo of some Westmere processors:

As far as the naming goes, its a code-name, not a final name of the product.

Yea, only the IGP variants were delayed/rescheduled. All others are going as schedule.

They were always rubbish at naming them.

    1. "Kentsfield"
    2. "Gallatin"
    3. "Tigerton"
    4. "Woodcrest"
    5. "Presler"

    A few names I remembered.

    ?? :D :D :D

I'm hearing the Turbo Mode on Calpella will give very significant boost. Numbers like greater than 50% boost is being thrown around.
