    Currently have Mini 110 stock.
I tried running hd movies but it runs like crap.
Tried running mutiple windows with video on and it runs like crap too.

Will 2gb memory help it run smooth?
also planning to get broadcom HD card.

Or should I just sell this netbook and get something better? like dual core atom?

I'd say sell it and get you an Atom 330 netbook with ION, or if you can wait a little bit, ION2.

I can get hd card for $20 on ebay and 2gb stick for about $40 bucks.
Just checking if it make it run smooth. If not I'll have to find new one.
Its running windows 7 starter edition.

Engadget review here. It looks like the Broadcom will do what you need it to, though it's a little limited - Windows Media Player and Flash 10.1 only.

The Dell they tested had only 1GB of RAM, so if all you want is HD video playback, then you don't need to upgrade that.

As for multiple windows, RAM could help there. You should test that yourself, though - just check your memory usage in Task Manager.

I could play 720p with CoreAVC in Windows Media Player fine.

on the other paw, what does a 'real' notebook with a 12" screen, a 'real' dual core cpu, a 'real' video chip, etc, etc, cost?

In buying a netbook, were you looking at cost or portability or battery life?
