    Netbook Windows 7 and 2G Ram upgrade

    I am going to be upgrading my Asus 1005ha netbook from xp to windows 7 and I am also going to upgrade my ram to 2Gb. Is it ok to upgrade to windows 7 and then upgrade the ram? and if so how do i do it?

    Since only 2GB RAM, Win7 x86 version is what you want to install. IT won't matter which order, RAM or Windows gets installed first, Windows will adjust itself once RAM installed....only possiblity is that if RAM first, then install OS, slightly better chance of page file in contiguous space, or if install OS, then RAM, worst case is 2 sections of drive for pagefile
