    How much faster is an atom processor vs a celeron processor?

    Clock for clock, the Celeron is faster than the Atom.
    The Celerons are clocked about half of the Atom though, and the Atom uses significantly less power.

    Hopefully this article will help give you the numbers you're looking for (but the Atom they're looking at there is a low end nettop atom).
    In the end, to me - it's no contest. Get an Atom.
