    im new at this graphic stuff and upgradeable stuff, but can this work with the NP8662? also is this graphic card better than the GeForce GTX 260M?

    jaredmccoy, today is your lucky day. That 8800M GTX will work perfectly in your M570RU as the card was also pulled from an M570RU. It's a match made in heaven.

    no the GTX 260M can beat a 8800M GTX easily. Also isn't there a way to connect notebook GPU to a laptop and use it as an external GPU ?

    I actually ordered/received/installed last week. He had like 10 at the time I believe. It comes with the heatsink but no sli cable. It was just a good deal compared to what you can get a used one for around here and I wanted to share in case anyone else was in need of one.

    It would potentially be possible but then you're gonna be walking around with a laptop that won't work unless you carry a seperate GPU + power supply with you too.

    Its too much of a hassle.

    The ViDock, however, can kinda do this with ATI Radeon desktop GPUs
