It's still in the lab. There will be a long way to go before it can be in products.

I agree, but if a "long time" is two years its definitely something to get excited about. Not that I'm an expert in nanotechnnology, but it seems that the implementation of the steps needed to take this concept to production will go through some established techniques -- which could speed things along.

Tell me if it passes testing under extreme conditions. You never know when these "new batteries" will explode and they might even be worse than what an Li-Ion battery can do to us if it does. =/
