Will the below work in a Dell Precision M6600 with a 04YYM A00 motherboard? I tried searching for the MB, but could only find M6400 and M6500s. Are they the same? I am willing to replace the current MB if I can utilize this CPU and 32gb of 1600 Mhz ram. Which this chip will allow.

Also, I have had many conflicting answers on whether the chip can even be replaced at all. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd rather keep costs down with my current MB, but it can be replaced too, if required.

And again, my current chip is 35w TDP where this one is 45. Need some guidance here folks.

I got this laptop cheap, but it isn't what I was told, so I'm willing to put some money into it for a Killer CAD Laptop.

Sorry for the nearly repeat post.

    Thanks.
