Hello everyone, just looking for your advice on purchasing a new external hard drive.

Looking for one with minimum capacity of 500GB, and anything up to 1TB would be fine.

Can anyone make any recommendations of what/what not to buy?

Also any feedback on transfer rates etc. over USB 2.0 (what ill be using) would be great!

Im in the UK by the way.

    Thanks!

My 2 cents is to go with Seagate Freeagent. And all their new drives are supposed to be out in the next 2 weeks.
