    That kind of speed tells me that these are 'real' drives with either sata or miniPCIe interfaces. It's about time.

    A lot of netbook SSDs are nothing but repackaged USB memory sticks reworked to fit into available internal space.

    I would love a fast 1/2 mini pci card that was actually a 64GB relativly fast SSD.

    That would rock for a special storage spot for my most important data (and would be swappable between notebooks)

    Thats really good news for the netbook crowd though... and man 0.3 watts of power!

    These are great. Only really need 4 SATA I/O wires and 3.3V/GND going to them and could pretty much install them in any SATA connector equipped system.

    If anyone is interested, it might be possible to tap off the existing ICHxM systems, since they tend to have 3 (ICH8M or lower) or 4 (ICH9M+) SATA ports, with only 1 or 2 having connectors attached. Some more discussion on this possibility is here.
