Since Sandy Bridge is getting ready to fire up, you guys expecting any new laptop models or refreshes to come about? Alienware R3, Envy refresh, a new Asus G model, maybe the msi gt663, a new Sager model (kind of doubt this one, but who knows).

    What are your thoughts? :)

There will definitely be refreshes within a few weeks of the processors hitting the market but probably mostly just the processor/motherboard and not like new designs or anything.

Lenovo X202 I eagerly await, plus any 13.3"er's with switchable graphics for my brother who is headed to college next year and his Sony Vaio SR is not going to cut it.

I haven't made up my mind yet. I'm looking forward to getting either a Sandy Bridge or Llano tablet. But definitely a tablet. I would love an X202T. I'll guess we'll find out in the next couple of months or so what the various manufacturers come out with. :)

I'm hoping Lenovo will re-introduce a 13.3" laptop to the market again. Like the X301, but not as expensive. Maybe a T300, or X320 ??

This is my wildest dream at this moment and very unlikely, but if anything similar comes... I'll be happy.

    13.3" Acer TimelineX 3830tg
    - new Sandy Bridge processor
    - new AMD graphics (with the new "Dynamic SG" feature)
    - perhaps even a better screen (higher resolution? better quality? Doesn't matter... this one won't happen)

or a new HP Envy 15 variant. Either would be interesting to me. As for what is likely? Some time later Apple will release new MBP, and Sony will upgrade the Sony Vaio F and Z most likely.
