New Motherboard for Toshiba Satellite A200

Good Day,

So my laptop's in at the repair shop as I had a crash 4 days before warranty was to expire. They phoned me Friday to tell me that the motherboard is fried from a water spill (which, to my knowledge, didn't happen while it was in my care but...whatever). They want $500 to give me a new one. I have a hard time with that.

So, here are my questions.

1. What kind of motherboard do I need to buy for this laptop?
2. What is a good price for this?
3. Is this a difficult repair to do myself? I did find instructions on how to do it and they look fairly simple to follow (even for me)

You need a motherboard from another a200 you cant use anything else ( well im not to farmiliar with toshiba's but thats your safe bet ) Dont pay $500 for a new motherboard you could Literally get a whole new laptop for that price.
