I posted this previously on the Hardware forum which probably wasn't the appropriate forum

Can anyone out there tell me if the new PCI Express video cards are easily upgradeable ie. You can unplug them and plug a new model back into the appropriate slot like RAM?

In theory yes, but the manufacturer probably needs to support the other cards in the BIOS, etc.

I guess you would just upgrade it and install BIOS updates or GPU updates to make it work.

    (Before you install it, obviously).
