    At the moment, don't buy any SF drive... they are unreliable, and it's just not worth the risk. Choose Crucial, Intel or Samsung. This may change in future, and I believe compression is the way to go, but not yet.

    Sandforce is good for people who don't mind updating firmware a lot and do the occasional RMA.

    If not, look for Samsung, Intel or Crucial.

    PS. I'm using a Vertex 3 at moment.
