My GSkill Titan arrived this morning and I've spent most of the day installing & tweaking.

Thought I would post some benchmarks & stats.

OS Boot Time - 26 seconds - 50 seconds with the Scorpio
WEI - 5.9 - up from 5.7 (harddrive score only)

    HD Tune Pro results:

    Read

    Minimum: 115.2 MB/s
    Maximum: 185.2 MB/s
    Average: 157.1 MB/s
    Access time: 0.2 ms
    Burst rate: 150.7 MB/s

    Sisandra results:

    Read

    Drive index: 165.07 MB/s
    Random access time: 1ms

I'm really impressed with it. OS feels snappier, programs install lightning fast and boot times are speedy. Took just over 20 minutes to install Vista but I can't remember how long that took with the Scorpio.

Wish I had enough space for two :D

run crystalmark. HDTune is a horrible benchmark for SSD's.

    Here's Crystal Mark.

4k write is a little lacking but the JMicron controllers are a bit of a bottleneck. Still amazing performance apart from that.

For the price I think its hard to beat a Titan right now

You should also try the IOMeter benchmark as well.

Definitely great to have SSD's that are pushing the price point lower. I'll wait until they come out with better controllers and lower $/GB
