Hi, i just bought a new Sony Vaio N21s/w yesterday got it home and everything was great sound all worked fine. Then the computer started updating itself and i let it do it all. then after the restart the sound was very quiet and crackling. I tryed going to the sony support website and downloaded the new drivers (audio) and also tried a system restore to before the upgrade. nothing is helping. I plugged in headphones to see if the sound stoped but it was jus crackling in the headphones. Im guessing its a software problem. If anyone could help me it would be must appreciated. Thanks :)

oh btw im on windows Vista premium.

    thanks in advance :)

    Adam
