WOW WD customer service is horrible. I called and said i have a new my book 500gb home edition with vista and i can only remove drive from my dell e1705 when i shut down. I cant remove it while in windows is running. It always says drive in use, it only works right when comp boots up and don't access the drive. After about 5 mins of the tech looking something up he tells me just shut down computer any thing else i can help you with. (Thanks Big Help)

Can any one help me out thanks

I have it hooked up via firewire 400

call again and get a different rep. If the second person is ****, ask to talk to a supervisor.

General tech help system right there. If nothing else, the WD e-RMA is excelent.
