Looked in the "battery guide" thread but no mentioning on the first page about this.

How many charge/discharge cycles one has to do for a new battery ?

Some talk about charging up to 15 hours but if the laptop stops with charging after 5 hours, what's the use of leaving in any longer ?

    Just use the battery... -_-

The battery should reach optimal capacity after a few cycles. I tend to charge my batteries up to about 90%, and start charging when its below 35%. I would not recommend fully charging the battery each time.

Just use the battery. Charge it to full (100%) if you have time, and use it until it's empty (0%).

Don't make your life unnecessarily harder.
