I hear undervolting results in a cooler running laptop. If you haven't read notebookreview.com's review on the studioXPS 16 then i can tell you first hand, they run HOT. the ati hd 3670 seems to run plenty fast so i don't think i'll overclock that. but i do want it to run cooler.
basicly, can i undervolt my studioXPS 16. intel P8600?
just asking cause it is a new laptop

Yes, you can undervolt it. Check out the Undervolting Guide.

Yes, undervolting will NEVER mess up a computer if you follow the guide written here at notebookreview!

There is not a single CPU that cannot be undervolted safely. There may be CPUs that can be lowered more than others, but you will NEVER encounter a hardware problem from undervolting your CPU. And to answer your question, yes, undervolting does lower your running temps and noticeably increases battery life.

Isn't BSOD caused be hardware problem..

A BSOD can be caused by any number of things, hardware or software.
You can get BSODs if you undervolt your CPU too far, but all you have to do is kick the voltage up a little bit and you're set again.
New laptop, okay to undervolt?
