    Just got myself a brand new Dell Inspiron 6000 with Intel 740, 512 RAM, 60GB hard Drive and Ati X300 128mb Graphic card

    I need some info on how to get the best performance out it and what upgrade i need to get in both hardware and software

    Please Help....thanks

    From the hardware perspective you're only options really are a faster HDD and more RAM. As for softwrae, there are several threads going with tools to optimize performance.
