Is it worth paying $35-40 more for a new X25-M over a used one?

Depends on how used, I suppose. I bought both my SSDs used for savings of about $40 on my X-25M and $30 on my 470. The former was used for a while, it seems, while the latter had only a few boots and almost no data written. Personally, I'd say both were well worth the savings, but it's kind of subjective.

    Sorry, 160gb. $130-135 used, $170 new.

Really depends on the amount written and the power on time. 30 dollars is eh, @ 160, it may not matter, but 30 dollars for a 80 GB is worth it.

2595.6 data written. Life 99%. Work time 320hrs.

2.5TB is not a big deal with these drives right?

2.5tb is nothing. I know this thread has been referenced to death, but the current X25-M 80gb they're testing has written 400tb without quitting, and the X25-V 40gb has written over 800(!)tb, also without error. SSD "endurance" is vastly underrated by the manufacturer, but even the MWI of your drive indicates it's only used up 1% of its expected life. I would not hesitate to purchase that drive.

Yea I went for a used X25-M. After going through that thread there was no way I could justify paying even $25 more for a new one.
