Hey there folks, I found out about eGPU's in July an after much research decided to try it. Figured it would be a good Mid-stage before upgrading to a full gaming desktop. If it does not work at least the only money really wasted will be the $100 for that PE4H that I can sell to someone else.
So here is my Laptop details, right now in the middle of a OS upgrade from Vista HP to W7 HP. Also I have a Dual Boot with LInux Ubuntu (64 bit)

Power Supply - Have yet to buy one, was going to get a 1200 Gold plus rated one so I could use it in the future in my gaming rig.
eGPU adapter - PE4H EC2C
Any tips & advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I am not very informed on how it works, but many informed users there. You should be able to get help there. Good luck. I will be following, just because I always like to learn, and actually have some time to learn about this.
