Ok, I will be buying a laptop hard drive tomorrow from newegg.com. I've checked all the specs and it seems perfect.

My question actually has to do with newegg's return policy and OEM. If this is the laptop hard drive I am ordering, it is OEM and has the Limited 30 Day Return Policy.

If, when I get the hard drive and try to use in my laptop, and it doesn't work, will newegg accept it back, or not? I need a really clear answer because the HDD may not be the only problem in my laptop. If that is the case, then I might want to return the HD back to newegg.

Western Digital 80GB is also another option but I figured $10 more for 40GB is more worth it.

Newegg will accept the return within 30 days. They will also charge a 15% restocking fee. Do keep that in mind.

So tops $12, that's not bad. It's better than losing $80.

You have to pay return shipping as well, FYI...so it's technically more than 15%.

Dammit.....well it's still not that much considering I will still get a return on it.
